William H. Sain Attorney At Law


Mr. Sain is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University (B.A., 2008) and University of North Carolina School of Law (J.D. with honors, 2015). During law school, Mr. Sain was a member of the North Carolina Law Review and a notes editor on the First Amendment Law Review. He served as 3L Class Representative to the Student Bar Association. As Vice President of the Carolina Public Interest Law Organization, planned a charity auction to fund student grants for unpaid public interest internships. Mr. Sain was also a recipient of the Chancellor's Scholar scholarship, UNC School of Law's equivalent to the Morehead-Cain Scholarship.

Role at MHC:

Mr. Sain practices primarily in the area of corporate & business law, bankruptcy, general civil litigation and estate planning.

Professional Bio:

Mr. Sain worked as a deputy clerk in the Cleveland County Clerk of Superior Court's office for 4 years before attending law school. While in law school, Mr. Sain interned for the Hon. Judge Calvin E. Murphy on the North Carolina Business Court, working on complex business litigation cases. He gained experience in shareholder's rights disputes, trade secrets, discovery & motion practice, and business torts. He also interned for Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in their General Counsel's office. He gained diverse exposure to contract negotiations, corporate governance, corporate policy & procedures, and mergers & acquisitions issues. He is a member of the Gaston County, North Carolina, and American Bar Associations and the North Carolina State Bar.

Personal Bio:

Mr. Sain grew up in nearby Boiling Springs, NC. He is married and has two sons.
